Dance is a fantastic way to relax, burn off energy, express emotions, and help with stress. Yet historically, deaf people have been excluded from dance due to assumptions that you need to hear music to participate.
We're changing that. Deaf Dance provides signed dance classes that welcome the whole spectrum of deafness, including members of the Deaf Community and CODAs (Children of Deaf Adults).
Our classes use Sign Supported English (SSE) and accommodate lip-readers, ensuring everyone can fully participate in the joy of movement.
Get InvolvedAll classes are delivered using Sign Supported English with lip-reading accommodation. We welcome all degrees of deafness.
We believe finances shouldn't be a barrier. Our suggested donation is just £3, but you only pay what you can afford.
From tiny dancers aged 3 to adults 18+, we have workshops designed for every age group and ability level.
